'Toys Exhibition' by Judy Rogers and Sheila Ayling

New works by Judy Rogers and Sheila Ayling

'If life doesn't offer a game worth playing, then invent a new one.' Anthony J. D'Angelo, The College Blue Book

With the aid of imagination and objects fashioned as toys the artists created a very unique world of play. The visitors are challenged to master this whimsical environment and have lots of fun doing it. This show demands the viewer to keenly revisit their childhood toys or acquire new ones and continue to make up new games. It's also an interesting reminder of life before video games and batteries; apparently you don't always need to have an on switch to have fun.

The artists, Judy Rogers and Sheila Ayling, invite all 'children' - grown-up or otherwise - to come for a play at the blend(er) gallery, Joondalup.

Open: Tue-Sun 10am-2pm, Wed-Sun 6-9pm
